Open Access Statement

What open access means here

Every article is freely available from the moment of publication. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search and link to the full text without asking permission and without payment, registration or institutional subscription.

This is diamond open access: neither readers nor authors pay. The Department bears the cost of publication as part of its scholarly mission.

Licensing

Unless stated otherwise on the article itself, all articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. This permits unrestricted use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

Authors retain copyright in their work. Publishing with us does not require a transfer of copyright.

Archiving and preservation

Article URLs are permanent and will not change. Metadata for all published articles is openly available through our OAI-PMH endpoint, allowing harvesting by BASE, CORE, OpenAIRE and institutional discovery services.

Authors are encouraged to deposit the published version in their institutional repository and on scholarly networks — no embargo applies.

Fees

There are no submission fees, no article processing charges, no page charges and no colour figure charges. No fee of any kind is levied at any stage.
