Integrates chemistry content with pedagogy, practical laboratory instruction and the safe, effective use of improvised apparatus in resource-constrained schools.

B.Sc. (Ed.) Physics Education
Builds strong physics understanding alongside evidence-based strategies for addressing the conceptual difficulties students most commonly bring to mechanics and electricity.

B.Sc. (Ed.) Mathematics Education
Develops mathematical reasoning and the pedagogical knowledge required to teach mathematics meaningfully rather than procedurally.
Postgraduate

M.Ed. Science Education
For practising teachers and graduates seeking research training in science education. Includes advanced research methods and a supervised dissertation.
18–24 months
M.Ed. Curriculum Studies
Examines curriculum theory, design, implementation and evaluation, with emphasis on reform in Nigerian and wider African school systems.
3–5 years
Ph.D. Science Education
Independent doctoral research supervised by departmental staff, producing an original contribution to knowledge in science education.
